The Kirk Session |

The Kirk Session of Castle Street Church comprises office-bearers called ‘elders’. In the Church of Scotland elders are appointed for life. The elders are responsible for making decisions concerning the spiritual life and pastoral care of the congregation. The Kirk Session meets about six times a year. The chairman (Moderator) is the minister, the Rev. Dr. Bruce Ritchie. The secretary (Session Clerk) is the Rev. Alexander Glass. The elders, plus Congregational Board members, are the Trustees of the Congregation. Their Reports are available on-line here.
